President of the People’s Rights Council Nurul Haque Noor said in the harmony rally that India had given unequivocal support to Hasina in the elections of 2014, 18, 24. India is desperate to bring Hasina to power even when the whole world is talking in favor of democracy in Bangladesh. I will tell our neighboring country India to maintain normal relations with us. Don’t ruin a relationship for a party. We have a prisoner exchange agreement with India. Sheikh Hasina should be sent to Bangladesh immediately without advocating to be sent to another country, otherwise the Indian High Commissioner will be surrounded by the People’s Rights Council.
He also said that the people have high expectations from this interim government, they have formed the government with the people’s mandate. They should talk to all political parties and decide what to do next. Hope this government will work with the people. However, not all tasks can be completed. State institutions need to be restored. This government must bring the money smugglers from Bangladesh to justice.
Noor also said, ‘When the students have liberated the country through revolution, a group of people is doing anarchy. They are occupying different parts of the country, looting, all these are aimed at thwarting the revolution of the students. Therefore, I will ask the students to form neighborhood-by-neighborhood resistance committees to prevent anarchy. These anarchies are not being done by the People’s Rights Council, BNP-Jamaat. Law and order forces should identify those who are doing this and bring them to justice.
General Secretary of Public Rights Council. Rashed Khan said, after the revolution there is a possibility of counter-revolution. Already, chaos, robbery, robbery, riots have started everywhere. But these are not good signs. This conspiracy has been started to dispute our achievements that earlier the law and order situation was good, now people are not safe. All political parties and people should be alert in this regard.
He also said that the interim government has already been formed. I think this government will hold public’s trust in them by holding free, fair and impartial elections soon. At this moment, there is a need to reform all government sectors including constitutional institutions. Within the next 1 month, all the beneficiary officials should be removed and brought to justice. There is no exemption for those involved in the illegal elections of 14, 18 and 24. Besides, those involved in disappearances and murders should be punished by dismissal. Sheikh Hasina, who ordered the disappearance and murder, fled to India. He must be brought back from India. No one can get away with killing so many people. He must be judged. And no more conflicts with the police. It is our responsibility to protect them.
The objective of the minority community is to say, we are with you. You will not suffer from insecurity. Let us all establish unity and solidarity. Let us all unite and play a role in building the country as a developed state by creating awareness among the people. No more Sheikh Hasina can be allowed to be created in this Bangladesh.
